Bass Fishing Tip: What's For Dinner?According to many experts, the best bass fishing tip you will ever receive is to ask “what's for dinner?” Of course, you're not asking it for yourself; and “yummy bass” isn't the answer. The question is precisely what bass are thinking – and no matter how you approach them, your success or failure will hinge upon your ability to answer that question with the meal they want. Now, this bass fishing tip might be a little easier to apply if all bass were in the same state all the time, but that definitely isn't true. There's a significant difference between a bass that is relatively complacent and near a nesting area – and a bass that – along with its buddies – is looking for something to eat. If you drop a lure down on a bass near a nest, “anything” is usually for dinner. No matter what lure you drop down, the bass is likely to act aggressively and attack the lure; however, to make things more attractive, you will want to use a lure that simulates something that is both threatening to the eggs and yummy to the bass. This will prevent the bass from thinking twice before it snaps onto the lure. Now, let's apply this bass fishing tip to a different scenario: let's pretend that the bass in question is now hunting with the rest of the school. In this situation, you will simply want to procure the local food of choice. You're bound to get a number of bite attempts, especially if you can land your food simulator in the center of a larger school. No matter how you approach bass fishing, just remember to keep our simple bass fishing tip in mind: think about what's for dinner for the bass. If you can answer that correctly – and provide it in a timely manner in the form of a lure (using this bass fishing tip) – you're guaranteed to catch that bass.
